my fwends is a private app for close friend groups. This page explains, in plain language, what happens with your data.
A “come have a drink with me” invite shares your live location only with the members of the group you sent it to, only until the countdown timer you set expires. When the timer runs out, the invite expires and your location is no longer visible to anyone.
Profile and group photos are stored in private storage and are only visible to the members of your groups. Group photos can be changed by the people in the group.
The app is invite-only. Your profile, plans and expenses are visible only to members of the groups you are in. Group owners can remove members, and you can leave any group at any time.
You can delete your account yourself at any time: open Your profile and tap “Delete my account”. That permanently erases your name, birthday, photo, private birthday list, device tokens, notifications and any shared locations, and blocks sign-in for good.
Shared group records your friends still rely on — bills, splits, plans and votes — stay in those groups but are no longer linked to your name; they show as “Deleted user”. When you leave a group, your membership and access to that group’s content ends.
